Buck cannot tolerate being tied up and beaten he fights against his cruel new master, but all of his efforts to escape are futile. Buck's spirit, however, does not adapt as easily as do some of the other docile big dogs. Tragically, for Buck, one of the Judge's servants (an addictive gambler) steals Buck and sells him to a ring of thieves who are making a great deal of money by buying and selling dogs to northern traders. Around this time, however, gold is discovered in the great North, and large dogs suddenly become tremendously valuable because these types of dogs are needed to haul the heavy sleds through the deep snow fields. It seems to be the best of all possible worlds, for Buck is the most prized animal that the Judge owns. Hunting is more rewarding and exciting with friends, so share your experiences and earn those bragging rights.Buck, a huge, four-year-old half-Saint Bernard and half-Scottish shepherd dog, is living a life of civilized ease in California's Santa Clara Valley in the home of Judge Miller. Take part in daily, weekly or community events to earn in-game rewards.

Enjoy a wide range of in-game challenges and events, with the Hunt Club. Join up to 8 friends (or complete strangers!) in cooperative and competitive modes.

Learn how to use callers and scents, but above all else, study your prey: pay close attention to animal behavior, traits and patterns of movement. Develop your character by unlocking various skills and equipment. Practice and steady your aim at the shooting range.

Many weapons are available for in-game and you can equip yourself with rifles, handguns and bows and customize them with scopes and different ammunition types.

Track the ever elusive Lynx in frozen forests of Medved-Taiga, take to the skies in Hirschfelden and bag some goose or meet the cape Buffalo while you explore the the hot Vurhonga Savanna. From the classic and most popular medium game like whitetail deer to big game like Bears and Elks.

With it’s 4 diverse reserves and national parks you will encounter 25 species to hunt (and we keep adding new ones) each providing its own challenge.

Exploring the open world has never been more fun. Tired of walking between your hunts? Get the ATV Saber 4x4 and drive around! This capable vehicle will carry you across rough terrain at breakneck speeds. Discover lookouts, hunting towers and outposts.

Take on missions and challenges from the locals, or go off the beaten path.

The vast world of theHunter: Call of the Wild is split up into separate and distinct hunting reserves, each one filled with surprises and memorable moments.

Explore 100 square miles (256 square kilometer) of varied terrain, ranging from the open farm fields and dense forests to frozen tundras and the savanna.

Explore the various reserves in All Terrain Vehicles, camp out in the wild using tents and ground blinds, and select between a wide range of specialized weapons to best take down your target.

In addition to the original content of theHunter: Call of the Wild, the 2019 Edition also includes the frozen and harsh Medved-Taiga reserve, as well as the rolling grasslands of the Vurhonga Savanna reserve.
